Fishing has been excellent at Morris Point. The weather has been a little cooler than normal, but the forecast is for warmer weather the next couple of weeks.
The walleye action has been right out in front of Morris Point in 32' - 34' of water. Drifting and trolling with live bait has been producing alot of fish while the anchor and frozen shiners is also excellent.
Downrigger action is also really good! Mostly pulling #5 Shad Raps and Jr. Thundersticks.
Leadcore, snap weights and dipsy divers are also working if you don't have downriggers. Alot of slot fish and trophy fish are being reported.
